Welcome to my blog!
This blog is an official record of my experiences with Law of Attraction. For those who haven’t heard of it, Law of Attraction is the belief that “like attracts like” and therefore the more you focus on something, the more likely you will bring it into your life. Essentially, it boils down to “what you think about, you bring about”.
Like most of you, I was oblivious to this law, until few years back, when the popular book, “The Secret” by Ronda Byrone came into my life. Before this point, I attracted many things into my life, often positive results, but I couldn’t quite put my finger on how I attracted them into my life. You see, I have been a natural “manifester” without even realising. I knew positive thinking worked for me at some level, as I had attracted great friendships, relationship, house purchases, jobs and even money by thinking positively about them, although at those points in time, I hadn’t really contextualised it as positive thinking. I put it more down to luck! When I was at University, I had a particularly successful exam sitting, even though, I only studied selected part of the syllabus and skipped almost half of it, as I was too busy partying! I still remember a friend (who is still a friend by the way) called me a “Jammy B**tch!” for getting the questions right as most of the questions were on the topics I studied.
I am a scientist by education (BSc Neuroscience) and an Accountant by profession, so my core skill has always been analysis and I often have difficult time explaining Law of Attraction, especially how it works for me, to my friends and family. Following on from inspiration from the “Happiness Project” by Gretchen Rubin, I have decided to undertake my own “Experiment” into the Law of Attraction. I intend to spend this year, focus on various aspects of life and using known LoA tools and techniques, as well as a bit psychology and other mind associated tools and techniques to specific attract desired results. I intend to post regularly to this blog, by setting out my thoughts and then publishing the results, as well as outlining the methods I have used, therefore hopefully a tangible way of measuring my success.
So join me on my experiment…
